Siol Na h’Eireann Pipes & Drums is a 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation formed in 1989. The band is affiliated with the Ancient Order of Hibernians (Suffolk County, Division 8) and marches proudly in the N.Y. City St. Patrick’s Day Parade, 10-12 town parades on Long Island in the month of March, along with many other town and fire department parades and events throughout the rest of the year. We also provide free bagpipe and drum lessons for anyone interested in learning and range in age from 10 to 60+ years.
On March 31st the band is looking forward to hosting the 3rd Annual Celtic Crush 5K. Last year’s event proved to be a wonderful experience with runners from around Long Island and the surrounding boroughs.
As a growing sanctioned 5K race we are looking for sponsors and donors to help with our event. No amount is too small and any donation/gift card will be appreciated as we hope you have appreciated the band’s performances over the years and into the future.
